ISM 2018
For the Eduard Edel GmbH the ISM 2019 was in the sign of contrasts. In addition to the main attraction, the proven traditional candies, also very modern concepts such as the Edel Inclusions, Kirstein's Dr. Block Power energy candies or the series "Taste of Germany" developed for Deli Memo were in the spotlight. Crucial to all candies are still the high quality and the selection of the best raw materials. Edel presented this philosophy of enjoyment to 38,000 trade visitors from 140 countries. The novelties of the year are:1. Deli Memo "Taste of Germany": This series, developed for the brand "Deli Memo", is like a sensual journey through Germany: from coffee from the stores of Hamburg in the north, to sweet mustard in Munich (south), from Kölsch and Alt (beers from Cologne and Düsseldorf) in the west to curry ketchup from Berlin in the east. Every region has it´s own candy and gable box with the city motif.
2. Kirstein's Dr. Block Power: The well-known Austrian brand Kirstein reinvents itself with these sweets and provides 3-fold power thanks to caffeine, guarana and taurine.
3. Inclusions: The round, unique candies contain real inclusions (such as fruit pieces, mint leaves, ginger) in the candy mass for a completely new sensation. They now are also available in an attractive assorted presenter.
4. Ginger Honey: Due to high demand in this segment, Edel will add another item to its successful honey line.
Edel is also planning a presence at the world's leading trade fair for sweets and snacks for the coming year. The 50th ISM will take place from 2 to 5 February 2020.
