Edel launches three new trend varieties

Eduard Edel GmbH Confectionery Factory is introducing three new trend-setting candies with strong market potential: Hemp-Lemon Leaves, Turmeric-Orange, and Sugar-Free Elderberry + Zinc drops. Although Eduard Edel GmbH did not participate in this year’s International Sweets and Snacks Fair (ISM), the company still presents exciting new developments that reflect current flavor and lifestyle trends. Turmeric has long been a staple of Indian cuisine, but only in recent years has the spice gained surprising popularity in Germany—thanks in part to its reputed health benefits. When paired with fine orange oil, it opens up entirely new flavor profiles. A citrus note also plays a role in Hemp-Lemon Leaves. The herbal taste of hemp seed extract is brightened with citrus to create a refined and flavorful candy. Hemp and hemp-based products are trending heavily at the moment—and now also available in candy form from Edel. The sugar-free Elderberry + Zinc candy supports the growing demand for health-conscious enjoyment and immune system support. It contains elderberry extract and a relevant amount of zinc oxide, which may help contribute to immune function. All three varieties are available as bulk goods in 5 kg bags and are also intended to support the expansion of Edel’s market-trade activities. Upon request, packaging in stand-up pouches is also available.
